Sonam Kapoor Makeup Breakdown

I had to be all prepared for my baby’s 1^st birthday and thus wanted to look the best that day. And for this I surfed hours to get the perfect makeup that would suit my beautiful deep royal blue and fuchsia sari bought from Indore. The saree is so beautiful that I didn’t want to leave anything makeup wise to flaunt it! 

So, finally I decided to steal the look of the diva “Sonam Kapoor”.  

Things that kept in mind were:

·         To be comfortable as it was my baby’s birthday and I had to hold her for all 4 hours

·         Messy hairstyle

·         Not too heavy makeup

·         Trendy popping makeup colours to suit the sari

·         Not too heavy jewellery- reason baby and also they doesn’t suit bold makeup

I picked up the look of “Sonam Kapoor” that I found on Google image search... Her makeup shades truly matched my sari colour with chic eyeliner, bright fuchsia lips, purplish fuchsia eye shadow and her peachy blush. I simply lOVVVEd it. It was just too-too perfect makeup for the event.

My view about Oriflame The One Long Wear Nail Polish:

This has flat and little wider brush than any normal nail paint brushes. It comes in a round transparent glass bottle. The brush helps quick and precise application of nail colour. The texture is quite thick than usual and thus second layer application gets even thicker. But, you will need 3 layers of most of the shade to get the best colour. The smell is just like any other nail polish and doesn’t cause irritation. This takes a little longer time to dry and starts to chip in 2-3 days.

This was my first   sanitizer that we bought after my baby’s birth, as we didn’t want our little tiny baby to get infected with the germs and bacteria. This is a must; always keep in mind, especially for newborns.  We preferred Lifebuoy Hand Sanitizer as it claims to kill germs and also we trust the brand and their quality products.

This comes in a transparent plastic bottle with the initials and logo in red. The bottle has a flip cap that makes it travel friendly. The texture is gel like and transparent. The gel like texture helps to spread it easily and quickly. This also dries really fast and absorbed very easily. This contains moisturizers and vitamin E. the scent of Lifebuoy Hand Sanitizer is too mild and sober, I love this. It’s really enchanting and lingers for little time. But, will defiantly not harm your little one.

Tips and Toes D-Fine eyeliner is available in a small see through glass bottle, just like any other eyeliner….no fancy packaging. This has a smooth, flowy and liquid consistency hat glides very easily and is easy to apply. It also doesn’t cause any breakout or stings. One single swipe is enough to get the desired jet black shade and this lasts up to 6-7 hours.  Tips and Toes D-Fine eyeliner can also resists water, but not Waterproof as few water rubs can remove it out. The brush of the Tips and Toes D-Fine eyeliner is very convenient to use that is useful to get a precise line. You can define your eyes as you like with a nice, smooth finish.  This eye liner is jet black and superb pigmented. This takes 5 mins to dry nicely, but doesn’t flake or smudge.

I know I am too late to get the review of this Maybelline lipstick to you. But, was too busy with the other products. I am not more of a pink lippy shade lover, due to my darker lips, but this time I am too excited to share my thoughts about this shade with all my lovely friends. This lipstick is simply too buttery and I especially loved the name- POW. POW is from the range of the lipstick Pink Alert that has all cutest and vibrant shades. Maybelline Pink Alert has 4 Lip shades named as POW 1, POW 2, POW3, and POW 4.They are all the brightest pink lip shades but differ in undertone and shade.

Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation SPF20 Hazelnut Star has a long and sleek cylinder plastic bottle that has a metallic pink pump dispenser. I loved the pump dispenser as it makes the product very hygienic and convenient to use. Hazelnut star shade from Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation SPF20 is an awesome shade to suit most of the Indian skin tones. 

This is the first foundation that suited my skin so well. The foundation has a creamy and very thick texture, but is very easily to blend. This spreads really well with the fingers application with just a little pressure. This has lil heavy and nice smell.

This has lived up to its claim to keep my oily skin look fresh even for longer time. This gives medium coverage and can hide minor flaws on the skin. This also gives a little dewy finish, without making it look greasy till 5 hours. But, after 5 hours it starts to oxidize with a little white cast and oiliness, but touch up take that all off. Lotus Herbals Purestay Nourishing Foundation SPF20 Hazelnut Star doesn't feel heavy or look cakey on my face.

Today I have a review of lovely lipstick shade from the brand from Oriflame with their new collection Demi Moore. It’s actually known as “Oriflame MORE by Demi Lipstick” with gorgeous shade name “Pink Drama”.

The packaging is simply love at first sight with its royal reflective, metallic and gold case. Truly in love with it, it gives a nice feeling of buying some really expensive product.  Also the lipstick lock has a very unique mechanism that requires pressing at the bottom. This helps the lipstick to come out & closes with just a click in the similar manner. Thus, keeping this in a bag doesn’t get messy and keep the problem of cap opening at bay.

 Now about the shade- it’s actually a too good DRAMATIC, bright and sober fuchsia shade. This actually brightens my face very instantly and just too perfect for any party look.  The texture of Oriflame MORE by Demi Lipstick: Pink Drama is very creamy that has moisturizing effect on the lips. This lipstick has a mild glossy finish that makes my lips look even more enchanting. T is nicely pigmented, you can just apply two swipes to get the required shade on the lips, in fact it eve shows on my dark pigmented lips. So bingo for this!!! Oriflame MORE by Demi Lipstick: Pink Drama has a mild bubblegum smell, but that doesn’t last long. This has a good stay power of 4 hrs. That starts fading with deep pink tint. This also doesn’t give any fine lines on the lips, which make it look even.

Maybelline Color Show Pink Voltage 010 is available in a lovely cylindrical glass bottle that has a black screw cap. The shade of the nail paint can be easily seen, as the bottle is transparent in colour. You can see the shade name and number on its top of the lid.  The shade of Maybelline Color Show Pink Voltage 010 is lovely bubblegum pink that is mostly loved by all. This is best suitable for any occasion and wear, in fact even to office. The nail paint is on a glossy side that makes it look even more appealing and vibrant. Thus, you can say it’s a very delicate, subtle and feminine shade. This easily stays for 5-6 days without chipping. On application it dries really very fast, even with two coats. But, you have to apply 2 coats, as the shade isn’t that pigmented. I liked the applicator, which makes it very easy to apply. Maybelline Color Show Pink Voltage 010 has a semi opaque consistency that requires 2 coats to get the best desired colour.
