About Delhi University:
This chief university of India is considered the best among all other universities in the world. This was established in 1922 by Central Legislative Assembly. It has PG, M.Phil, UG, Ph.D, Certificate or Diploma or Advanced Diploma Courses in many streams.
During its start, this just has 3 colleges in Delhi named, St. Stephen’s College, Ramjas College and Hindu College that later amalgamated into an university with 2 personnel: Arts & Science.
Delhi University has 2 main campuses: North Delhi and South. North Delhi campus has popular institutions like Hindu College, St. Stephen’s College, Miranda House, and Delhi School of Economics and so on; while campus of South includes Faculty of Arts & SP Jain Centre for Management Studies.
In present time, it has about 77 colleges under the affiliation along with 86 departments & 5 recognized institutes that spread in the city. This university has vast number of students counting to 13,2435.
This university also has a special Central Placement Cell that places their students in the very reputed MNC’s, govt Organisations, NGO's and also many private sector units.
