Anokha Black Tea & Licorice Root Brightening Cleanser Review And Swatch

I have a brightening cleanser to review today from Anokha brand. For the ones who don’t know about the brand-  Anokha Skin Care Anokha, was founded by plastic surgeon Dr. Nina Naidu and is formulated from South Asian botanicals.

I have tried and tested this cleanser for a week for the genuine product review. Let’s check how this fared?

 What Anokha Black Tea & Licorice Root Brightening Cleanser claims?

This gentle, creamy cleanser effectively brightens the skin and evens tone.  Black tea ferment is an antioxidant which helps to defend against free radicals while softening and brightening the skin. Grapeseed oil moisturizes the skin while providing anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits.  Licorice root extract has been demonstrated to effectively brighten the skin, while grapefruit oil helps to prevent oily skin in addition to providing a fresh, clean scent.

How to use Anokha Black Tea & Licorice Root Brightening Cleanser:

·        Wash your face with lukewarm water

·        Apply the cleanser.

·        Massage all over the face and neck. So this for a minute.

·        Rinse very well with water.4

·        Pat dry your skin.

·        To get even best results, you can follow this with lotus flower & rosewater toner and amla skin brightening lotion on the damp skin.

·        Do this every morning and night.

·        Desired results can be seen within 6-8 weeks.

My views bout Anokha Black Tea & Licorice Root Brightening Cleanser

This cleanser comes in a white tube with a black cap that has a small nozzle. This has a creamy texture and is white in colour. It has some sort of ayurvedic smell that isn’t too appealing for me.

Just a pea size amount is needed to get squeaky clean skin. This doesn’t lather but does take off any excess oil or dirt very easily. My skin feels baby soft like I have applied a moisturizer after every wash. The refreshing feel and the clean skin allures me. I wish the scent was little better. But, what matters is the work of the product and this actually does all that it claims.

It’s very mild and doesn’t takes off the natural oil of the skin or dries out the skin. I think I have found my perfect brightening cleanser for my combination skin.  This has also helped in brightening and even toned my skin in the usage of a week’s time.   I didn’t observe any breakout or skin dryness with the usage. While I love my dewy skin and baby soft feel.

Anokha Brightening Cleanser is very mild and a refreshing cleanser. This effectively and very gently cleanses my skin. It suits all skin types and the baby sift feel after every wash is awesome.
